Paws For Thought: On Lovin’ Dogs!

This has been a particularly sappy time for dog lovers. I came across two very well written pieces on mutts, so well written, it practically made me bawl. The first, was an excerpt from Inside of a Dog: What Dogs See, Smell, and Know by Alexandra Horowitz and the second was a piece in the Washington Post, called “Why Old Dogs Are The Best Dogs.”

I don’t think summarising the pieces makes any sense, because I don’t want to take away from the brilliant writing. So follow the links and read them for yourself!
