Haagen Dazs Outlet in India Shoos Away Indian Customers – “Uhmm, Didn’t You Read The Sign Outside?”

Oh India!

When Mahatma Gandhi was annoyed with the racsim in South Africa and the signs that said “No dogs and Indians allowed,” he pottered back to India and single handedly ( or with the help of millions of Indians, whichever way you look at it) – brought down the Empire in India!

Imagine how Gandhi would be turning somersaults in his  grave, if he saw the inaugural Haagen Dazs outlet in Delhi’s airport – stating proudly on it’s sign “Access restricted only to holders of International passports.”

YIKES. Talk about a PR -frakking SNAFU the size of the British Empire! Yikes again!

So people wanting a taste of whatever -it-is that makes Haagen Dazs charge an arm and a foot for their ice cream, were turned away.

One guy called Ramit (name changed), tried to enter the outlet but was turned away as he didn’t have an international passport.

Of Course! Because Indian palates cannot appreciate the whole creamy bullshit being served up across the counter.

After an uproar, the Franchisee (who is shamefully Indian) took down the sign.

But not without damaging its reputation a wee-frakking-bit!
